Dara Pharma participates in Pharmapack Paris

On February 5th and 6th, Paris hosted Pharmapack, an event promoted by Informa Markets, the same team that organizes CPhI Worldwide, and that gathers the latest trends, developments and regulations of the pharmaceutical industry.

Launched in 1997, Pharmapack has grown from a conference with a small table-top exhibition, to an event hosting more than 400 exhibitors and welcoming 5,500 attendees interested in Pharmaceutical Packaging, Drug Delivery, Medical Devices and Machinery.

Dara Pharma along with its representative Sterigene exhibited a machine for automatic filling and closing of vials in nest and RayDyLyo® caps, model NFL/2-RDL. It’s a versatile equipment, since it can process "ready-to-use" vials, syringes, and cartridges in nest. The containers are delivered clean, sterile and ready to be processed, so neither washing nor sterilization are required. Moreover, in the case of RayDyLyo® caps, the crimping process is also eliminated to reduce the risk of environmental contamination in the distribution lines.

With a filling and closing capacity of 4,800 vials per hour, the NFL line offers a leading technical and economic solution for pharmaceutical companies and biotech companies looking for the flexibility to manufacture from small batches up to industrial series.

Sergi González (Area Sales Manager, Dara Pharma) together with Guillaume Genty (Business Unit Manager, Sterigene) were invited to introduce both companies by participating in a round of interviews organized by Pharmapack.

Having made good business contacts during the show, Dara Pharma decided to keep on participating in Pharmapack as one of the important networking events.
