Dara Pharma’s international focus is also crucial to the company as about 97% of our equipment is exported. Our sales team, project management and after-sales service operate at international level, being represented in more than 80 countries.
Oscar and David Ral during the company's early years. Dara Pharma started operating from a small industrial plant of 250m² in La Garriga (Barcelona). The first projects were designed for the aseptic filling of blood products.
Design and manufacture of the first tabletop equipment, models SX-50, SX-100 and SX-200. Dara Pharma creates its first peristaltic dosing pump, model SX-50 SpeedFill.
Manufacture of the first compact automatic machines for filling and closing of injectable and freeze-dried vials, model SX-200-PP.
Roberto Calvo joined Dara Pharma as Technical Director in September 2006, providing the company with solid experience developing industrial machinery.
Dara develops its modular technology, based on standardized servo-driven modules, and creates a range of medium and high speed machines, models SYX / HSL.
Dara Pharma starts its internalization process, with strategic commercial actions in Latin America and Europe.
Dara manufactures its first automatic washing units and depyrogenation tunnels, models WM and DT, to be integrated into complete processing lines for injectable products.
Manufacture of the first machines for processing RTU prefilled syringes, models NFL, presented during the international trade show Achema 2012 in Frankfurt.
North American market opening.
Dara Pharma opens Dara México in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Dara moves to a new plant, located in Granollers, Barcelona, with a production area of 6,000 m².
Asian market opening, with proactive actions in India, China and Korea.
