Last week, Dara Pharma participated in the congress "Technologies Barrières" organized by the A3P Association (Association for Clean and Parenteral Products) at the Palais des Congrès in Tours (France).

The event, attended mainly by speakers and visitors from Western Europe, addressed the technologies of aseptic barriers and isolators used in sterile production following the requirements presented in the new GMP Annex 1.

Over the two-day meeting, more than 80 leading companies from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, such as laboratories and manufacturers of production equipment, exhibited their innovations through different presentations. The event's main purposes were to assess each presented solution and confirm the updates on the new Annex 1.

Dara Pharma attended the congress alongside its agent in France, Sterigene, and it focused its presentation on the design of aseptic filling machines and complete lines with integrated isolators, a growing trend in the market in which the group can demonstrate its proven experience and know-how.

Oriol Draper, Dara Pharma's Product Manager for Sterile and Containment Equipment, and Héctor Daussà, Dara Pharma's Area Manager, presented the state-of-the-art technology for the development of aseptic packaging equipment that allows us to meet the most up-to-date demands and offer isolators or other aseptic containment systems, such as cRABS, oRABS or LAF, integrated into automatized lines thanks to the use of robots.

In conclusion, the event was an exceptional opportunity for Dara Pharma to share its expertise in designing aseptic packaging solutions and protection equipment among potential customers and end-users and to confirm the growing trend of integrating containment systems into automatized lines to meet current standards.
