Last week, Dara once again participated in ACHEMA, the most important machinery trade fair for the pharmaceutical industry, which was held in Frankfurt from August 22nd to 26th. The event was attended by 2,211 exhibitors from 51 countries, with a total attendance of 70,000 people from 127 nations.
This edition of ACHEMA was the first major international event after a few years affected by the pandemic. The event had a smaller number of visitors than the previous edition, held in 2018, mainly due to the absence of Russian and Chinese companies, and the low participation of Japanese, Korean and Indian companies.
From our perspective, ACHEMA was a very positive event for us. Many customers who came to our booth did so with clear ideas of the projects they wanted to pursue. During the five days of the exhibition, about 600 people visited Dara's booth, with whom we were able to explore and begin about 200 business opportunities.
It should be added that the recent signing of a representation agreement with the German company Propack GmbH, allowed us to exhibit to a substantial influx of customers from DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at the exhibition.
We feel that this fair was one of our most successful to date, due to the high-quality contacts and visits that we received in our booth, and the clear pursuit of equipment and projects that the visitors already had on their minds.
It is also worth mentioning that Dara was the only European manufacturer to present a complete line to produce freeze-dried vaccines. Also, in our impressive and well-located booth, we exhibited other equipment for filling, such as the HSL-PP, the SX-50 Speed Fill, and the SX-50 Volumetric, and for freeze-drying, we exhibited the LyoCompact, LyoMicron, and LyoLab. Thanks to this variety of highly technological exhibits, our company was positioned at ACHEMA as one of the world leaders in the manufacture of fill & finish machinery.
